I know you usually answer questions about this phenomenon with "I don’t know and it’s not important" but just for the sake of speculating: could a reason behind this be that those orders are from larger players who are long, so the reasoning of other participants is that there's a better-than-average chance those longs won't close their positions yet and therefore maintain the current trend until their target is hit?
